COMPANY — COMPLIANCE & RESPONSIBLE USE

Education-first is an architecture, not a slogan.

This page documents the eight commitments that keep GiottoO an education and research platform — the rules we hold ourselves, our creators and our sponsors to, and where to complain when we fall short.

GiottoO provides educational market research, probability analysis, and risk tools based on public, licensed, or user-authorized data. GiottoO is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, commodity trading adviser, or financial adviser. Nothing on this platform is financial advice or a guarantee of performance. Trading and investing involve risk.

01

No advisory relationship

GiottoO is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer, and nothing on the platform creates an advisory relationship. Every analysis is educational research about probabilities and structures — it is never a recommendation to any specific person to take any specific trade. Users make their own decisions, with their own broker, on their own judgment.
02

No order execution from research surfaces

There is no buy button anywhere on GiottoO. Research surfaces cannot route, place or trigger orders — by architecture, not by policy alone. The separation is deliberate: a platform that profits from your research should not also profit from your order flow, and analysis made one click from execution stops being analysis.
03

Defined-risk-only doctrine

Every structure the platform analyzes or surfaces states its maximum loss before entry. Undefined-risk positions — naked short options, unbounded loss profiles — are outside the doctrine and are not presented as trade ideas. If the maximum loss cannot be written down as a dollar figure, it does not ship.
04

Disclaimers on every analysis

Each analysis, trade idea and research output carries its disclaimers at the point of use — not buried in a footer link. Probability estimates are labeled as model outputs. Backtests are labeled as hypothetical. Performance pages include losers. The rule is simple: the reader should never have to hunt for the caveat.
05

Creator compliance rules

Educators on the creator marketplace operate under enforced rules: risk disclosures on published research, no performance promises, no unlabeled sponsored content, and a verification ladder before monetization. Violations result in content removal and, for repeat offenses, removal from the marketplace.
06

Banned-language policy

Certain phrases are prohibited across the platform — in our own copy, in creator content, and in advertising we accept — because they misrepresent what trading is. The banned list includes:guaranteedrisk-freesure wineasy moneyNo outcome in options trading is certain, no strategy removes risk, and language that implies otherwise does not appear here — from us, our creators, or our sponsors.
07

Data-delay disclosure

Not all data on GiottoO is real-time, and we say so where it matters. Free-tier quotes may be delayed (typically 15 minutes), volatility metrics are computed from chain snapshots, and macro or filings data follows official publication schedules. The full breakdown of what is live and what is lagged is published on our data sources page.
08

Complaints and concerns

If you believe any content on GiottoO — ours or a creator's — violates these standards, misleads, or lacks a required disclosure, report it to compliance@giottoo.com. Reports are reviewed by a human, and substantiated issues are corrected publicly, not quietly.
